I would assign a small chance to Bridgewater being a ponzi scheme. I am not the first person to be skeptical of the firm and there have constantly been rumors about them.

Uber's valuation in particular worries me. Uber's product is 90 pixels on your phone - that's it. Behind that is computer code and an admittedly powerful network effect among drivers and riders. But I have to wonder about tha

Of all the household name tech leaders (Brin, Bezos, Musk, Jobs, etc), Zuckerberg really does strike me as the least substantial and most likely to be inauthentic. Obviously this is just a personal opinion but Facebook seems so laughably in

My god, how can Apple be this bad at services that they need to acquire a garbage product like Tidal?? Tidal is junk, an elitist music streaming service that does more to screw over any artist not in the top 25 grossing than Spotify ever co

Isn't the issue that a Kiva system is more scalable since it allows for rapid handling of far more SKUs? A key part of Amazon's retail strategy is that it's the first place you go to look for something because you know they h

Actually if SolarCity used a realistic discount rate to measure the value of their future cash flows which extend 40 years out, the company would be massively insolvent. Ahhh, the beauty of non-GAAP accounting...

Thank you for posting. Reminds me of the NYT article that bashed Amazon and Bezos a while back. Didn't take much digging to conclude the author/organization has a preconceived bias against the subject.

Can't companies and products simply hit a natural limit? There are inherent limitations to any given "thing" and perhaps Twitter has found its own terminal velocity.

It's evident that this was not only an isolated incident but one that seems to have more than a decent amount of justification. How so many people have managed to extrapolate this into tech robber barons taking over the galaxy is hyper

I'm kinda torn on this. On one hand it's noble and nice to see a rich guy who's interested in things like this as opposed to kickin it on his yacht with models all the time. On the other hand, I hate saying this but the use o
