Hmmm. More news that makes Scala and Clojure look more attractive than Java for new development.

From the matches I've seen so far, the latest ball seems very light. For long range passes the player has to be behind the ball to trap it with foot or control it with chest before it drops on the ground. Players who try to control the bal

No, applications using private frameworks are allowed on a case-by-case basis, e.g. http://arstechnica.com/apple/news/2009/12/steve-jobs-interve... and http://www.macworld.com/article/144963/2009/12/ustream_iphon...

I just went to youtube in the default browser on my Maemo phone. The flash plugin is installed, but Mozilla are ignoring it in the Firefox for Maemo because of all the crashes.

It seems like a premature announcement. No real roadmap as yet. Nokia reps are saying that Maemo 6 is MeeGo compatible, but I've no idea if I can upgrade my Nokia N900 to Maemo 6 either.

That the rebuttal for pointing out flaws in the iPad is simply to say that one is not the target market for the device is ridiculous.

I didn't upgrade my iPhone from 3.0.x to 3.1.x for months because I wanted to keep tethering through the unofficial carrier hole as my carrier then didn't support tethering. I ended up paying for the SIM unlock and porting my number away f

I've had issues on Telstra. Sometimes the phone UI will prevent you from answering the call. Sometimes the phone crashes mid-call. Sometimes you answer the phone and you can hear the other party but they can't here you.
