I do this very frequently on Mac. Here’s how I do it. I paste all the images into Microsoft Word. You can paste anything into Microsoft Word. Then I take a screenshot and then I annotate it with Skitch.

There was a great cross-platform environment called Visix Galaxy in the 1990's. You could compile your C++ source into native apps that ran on Windows NT as well as Solaris and HP-UX. It had a fantastic GUI builder which is similar

I think what we need is a very thin layer, or perhaps just a binding, between JavaScript, and native UI API calls. Then you could have a JavaScript non-web app with native look and feel
