It’s when we spend decades, generations even, trying to reanimate bodies without success but then finally we see signs of life. The first (and curiously, only) body tries to communicate with us and is rehabilitated for a decade before we fi

Don’t spend your time in this world bringing people down to prevent them from climbing higher than you. Lift them up. You’ll know you’ve got it right when they reach back down and give you a hand up. Your character is yours alone to write.

As an observer, the schadenfreude around crypto is unreal. If you want to see crypto fail, and jump on opportunities to spread FUD, to eventually prove your position and briefly smugly walk around saying "I told you so", then that

Just search for any song and append “ karaoke” and you’ll find a plethora of renditions ready to sing. Some are better than others so YMMV.

This is what my wife and I do, it’s pretty flawless. YouTube + Mic & mixer to a separate speaker. It’s the only way, and YouTube has the best karaoke. Routing the mic through your AV setup _will_ result in a delay which’ll make for a ho

Instead of just providing good services, we create new services to enable the original services to exist with the deficiencies they have, now you’ve got n services that enable 0.5 of the services you originally wanted. Sounds like a familia

This is exactly what I hate about companies. They’re not human and often the “computer says no”. It boils my blood like no other. Want to talk to someone? Try our help section. Clicked the right links to find a contact form? We’ll reply in

Couldn’t you see life itself as one huge bullshit project that we’re here doing without a concrete idea of where it’s going, what it’s for or whether anyone has a use for it? It’s work: for us to do, created by higher ups. It’s turtles all

I used to do this on Total Drivin’ on PS1. There were all sorts of ledges and off-track locations you could get yourself onto if you drove off track in the right way, sometimes even wall driving. Many, many hours.

Does the software itself have value? Isn’t it what people do with the software that really has value? The software sat on a floppy disk has pretty low value. I’d then argue that software has as much value as notes do. It’s about what you do

It’s funny because I’m just onboarding into the Apple eco-system. I’m happily leveraging all their services. I’m escaping Google after 15+ years. I swear it’s just a game of keeping yourself busy switching from this to that.
