From observations of myself, I think this behaviour is compelled by a childlike grasping at control of some trivial external aspect of my experience to make up for my inability to control the bug I'm working on, for example.

Articles like this remind me I need to brush up on my math. I don't even know what factoring is. Maybe I need to go and relearn algebra.

I feel like nuclear is the only (realistic) option we really have that'll help us navigate the gap between our current, and a more sustainable, less pollutant form of energy use. It's a shame there's such a fear of it. I real

I was told that in addition to codifying D+1 etc that "D-Day" was also phonetically derived from the term "the day", pronounced "thee" indicating a significant day in a still somewhat ambiguous way.

I'm being drawn into Apple by their stances on things like this and privacy. As much as I am bought into the Google eco-system, I'm questioning how long that'll be for.

I'm a bit salty about this - I've proposed the "dropping ie6 banner without actually dropping support" banner at multiple jobs in the past. Each time it was met with "ooooh we can't do that" by product. I
