Restic is a great choice also. You can store files/backups/whatever encrypted with support for many popular endpoints (local filesystem, S3, Backblaze B2).

Thanks for asking! I’m working on a podcast community site to give a place for listeners to get together and connect. It’s not too far along but the basics are there, feel free to check it out/give me feedback: https://www.p

Seems like a terrible idea to deploy changes to such a vital piece of their software GLOBALLY without some sort of rollout procedure.

I use Boostnote[0] (not affiliated, just a happy user), it's a simple to use note keeping application that supports Markdown. Keeping an (almost) daily journal of stuff that hangs me up has helped me immensely. You know the type of pro

Amazon's in the perfect position to give loans to their sellers. They have all the data in the world about how a seller is doing on the platform, so why not make some (relatively) safe money off interest and boosted sales?

This also happened to me. They shut down the account with no warning, and ended up holding the balance (a little over $10k) for 180 days. Switched to Stripe and I haven’t been happier.

Good, more people leaving PayPal for a more seller friendly payment processor is great for everyone. They’ve been nickel and diming sellers forever, and it seems it’s finally catching up to them.

I’m stunned that a business of this size would still be using Heroku. Heroku’s sweet spot (to me at least) is for anyone with less than 3-4 servers. After that, it just becomes so expensive there’s no rationalization in the world that makes
