“The world will carry on without them”. Sure but at the end of the day it’s not because companies can go bankrupt that debts etc magically disappear. It still impact other companies.

Exactly I am so tired to hear about AI… And they are not even AI! I am also losing faith in this field when I see how much they all push so much hype and lies like this instead of being transparent. They are not AGIs not even AIs… For now t

The percentage is irrelevant without knowing how they really work and how much profit they make. They could be at 95% with 0.1% of margin it wouldn’t mean much for the market. At the end of the day talking about HFT this way is to not know

I thought they learn their mistakes from the time they gave a U2 album for free on iTunes (but forcing everyone on iTunes to have it). It’s the same thing here but worst with ads. Pushing their stuff in our personal apps and lives without o

Thank you for the video! This is so much coming. Plus with thermal cameras too which is even more scary. On the same topic it reminds me Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (from 2005!) where an AI called "Masse Kernels" was automatically

Beyond Lottie I think that how your company is making tech decisions is bigger red flag… Just what you described seems crazy they can come up that solution just a few icons. I can’t imagine what it has to be for the rest. It’s unfortunately

Oh yes for sure. That’s what is scary. A while back Google did a demo at their I/O event for a IA secretary. It was able to take calls for you, manage your agenda, etc… In 5 years I am sure you will have a secretary plus other jobs pac

Let's all cheer this new era coming. Soon or you pay half your salary for AI since it will be so advanced or you will be unemployed impossible to compete with people subscribed to AI. Sure it may not happen (exactly) this way but look

Great read. At first I thought it would be about a blog 100% made by a human with 0% AI content and how we are already reading partially generated content by AI and soon fully generated, and where a full 100% human blog (or any media/c

Marketing Management by Philip Kotler is the reference. For the rest it depends on what you need since they are very focused on one domain but for instance for accounting/finance: Cost Accounting by Charles Horngren, or Managerial Acco

I don't look for the book with the maximum page length... Plus just talking about page length when talking about book vs textbook it's to miss the critical difference in content, format, and who each is made for. You forgot 2 metr

Yep I think people just want the fast track to being rich and are not interested into putting the hours and the grind for it. There are amazing books out there but they are textbooks. 1000 pages long on a single subject, and people don'

Oh yes you are right for monkey patch, I don't why it means something else where I am from. On the topic, sure. But maybe next time you go to another country, try to think how you would stay and break the law. Later, you will need a ca

To be honest, for me personally having cities that have that much power is weird to me. It should be something at the state or federal level. But as a counterargument: if this is not monkey patching, why not create a full sanctuary state? S

I am going to be downvoted to oblivion but sanctuary cities for what you are saying is like a monkey patch in code. It "works" for now but it's not a long-term viable solution. A person breaking the law and be fine to be a cr

It doesn't fall apart, you have examples that actually match it. Marketing boutiques of website creators match the 3-star Michelin analogy. High budgets from their customers (think LVMH) are the norm. And they will love and understand

A high price in a font won't sink a business as a high price in truffle would for a Michelin chef... The price of a font for a business is extremely negligible... Or again you shouldn't buy it if your business is too small. And if

Hmm if you talk to a colorist violet and purple are 2 different colors one more on the red and the other more on the blue. That’s still the construct of 2 wavelength colors. So a made up color of our brain that doesn’t exist.
