AFAIK, QoS traffic-shaping is only vital during link saturation, which is never what a backbone should experience. The last paper I read about backbone traffic explained that they aim for less than 50% maximum utilization.

Yeah, the RT-AC87U is known to have a buggy Quantenna WiFi chip, especially the 5ghz. There are many reports of problems over on snbforums. The RT-AC68U or RT-AC88U are better choices (because they use Broadcom?). My RT-N66U has been a flaw

I ran an SSH honeypot and every connection showed me something interesting; username/pass, shell commands, source host, whether it was automated or being typed by someone, which hosts they used for file downloads. This was maybe 10 y
