Sorry, I must be ignorant of some facts. What am I missing? I haven't seen anything from Thiel that would be lead me to believe he is anti-gay. It seems quite the contrary to me. He even said in his Republican speech that he was ga

I'm not sure I follow. Any political view usually affects all people in any room. Are you referring to Trump's bigotry? Sure, I'll admit, he is definitely a character in that regard. But again there's realistically on

Sure, but that's a consequence of a 2 party system and choosing the lesser evil, isn't it? He's both Libertarian and gay, both are extremely socially liberal. Why do you say he is socially conservative? I'm not seeing

To take his support of the Republican party to mean that he is against non-white, non-males is dishonest and straw man. If you have some evidence then present it. Thiel is both Libertarian and gay. Clearly he doesn't support everyth

Thiel is both Libertarian and gay. It's unlikely he is supportive of Trump's / Republican's bigotry, but more an issue of practicality since he doesn't like the alternative. I also find it ironic that something cal

He's more Libertarian than right-wing. I'm surprised of the endorsement because I wouldn't consider Trump even close to Libertarian. But I guess he is a lot closer than Hillary.

<C-c> works likes escape almost all the time. Mapping the caps lock key to Ctrl makes hitting <C-c> super easy. I usually use that instead of escape. In general I would agree 1 character at a time is an anti-pattern but it nee

Yeah, there's also that the naming convention has changed formats so many times in the last few years too. People need to see repeated pattern for it to sink in.

One thing I have noticed over the years is that the front end community is becoming more and more a "let me google how to do it" kind of community. The tooling ecosystem is so burdensome. Just to get a hello world app with React

Even if they do make houses for $50K, there is a huge demand so prices will still rise well above those prices. Both government and local home owners don't want more housing. Nobody who already owns a home wants more built because it

One thing to point out that I think people are missing is that the ruling was that a government could not operate a business in a different jurisdiction. It has nothing to do with free market or net neutrality concerns.
