Experiences like this and a bit of imagination are why I try to be not-root as quickly as possible, and sometimes consciously physically remove my hands from the keyboard instead of having them “idling” at their home position.

Do you mean number of private workspaces that are called an “office” in a building affects how taxes are calculated? So reconfiguring the floors in a corporate building might affect how they file taxes? I’ve never heard of that before...

Huh - I didn’t notice that, but that’s something for me to now look for. “Pedantic” is not the word I’d use to describe your observation here re: Steve Reich, master of phasing and polyrhythms and rounds.

Steve Reichs work is brilliant. I also enjoy the Reich Remixed album (c 1999) which was (as I think of it) a modern take on modern music - interestingly, I’d say the “modern take” part has aged the worst, but it’s still all good fun. https

I was thinking about this today - that is: a terminal (“minimal”) setup may well have prepared those of us who practice it - for remote work (great news if a pandemic strikes!) I wondered though, if there’s no way to objectively “score” the

I sure enjoy seeing less popular but well engineered tools reapplied to “modern” problems. Re: 9c and lib9rt being well-suited for constrained bare-metal development, I wonder is this a place where pcc[0] would also thrive? [0] https:&#x

It’s every K and R bike they’ve make since the 1930s (for the R models), including touring bikes but also the GS (which perhaps is a tourer these days, granted), R Nine T (street/sport), R18 (bobber/cruiser), and R1250R roadster.

Sadly sway seems very very Linux-centric. It depends on a device-enumerator that ships w systemd, which is quite an invasive prerequisite. I’m playing/hacking w swc[0] on NetBSD, and I’ve worked out my daily-driver, which to be clear
