Why do you think rates are so low? Hint: its because the Fed printed a bunch of money to monetize the debt.

This is good advice but I think it downplays the seriousness of government insolvency and the repercussions with respect to investing. The worst case scenario for millenials is not just getting 3/4 of our promised social security; it c

I agree, the sodastream machine is phenomenal... I drink seltzer almost exclusively, and before I had the machine I hated having to deal with all the empty plastic bottles. I'm not sure that soda stream has a huge cost benefit over bu

They credit Nadella with increasing the stock price... but MSFT performance is basically the same as the overall NASDAQ composite (of course I'm sure MSFT itself is a large portion of that index) as well as the larger S&P 500 index

In the part where the whole Noah/flood thing happened, it says that humans' lifespans would be limited to 120 years (after Adam etc). But that is not the point... no matter whether you take the Bible literally or not (I don't

Isn't LE more about increasing longevity than increasing life expectancy? That is, we don't have people living to be 200 years old; people's maximum lifespan seems relatively unchanged from 100 years ago (or even several tho

Do 100% of "box office receipts" go to the production company? Or is a portion of that overhead for the theater showing the movie? Also I think you're really missing something important, which the entertainment industry is a

The first chapter of Malcolm Gladwell's book Outliers has a plausible explanation... he gives an example of how successful hockey players are disproportionately born in the months of January, February, and March. To poorly summarize t

I should have been more clear when I referenced H1B. My personal opinion about the program is that it is deeply flawed, mostly because it is a sort of legalized indentured servitude. I doubt Trump has those same feelings however, as he hir
