I have two that control fridges for cheese making and aging. I used to have one running a custom news aggregator my gf made for me. I use them as controllers for large scale art at burning man.

Other points not covered. We need to end off label use. Saying a drug is approved for one diagnosis and then allowing it for any other diagnosis is, in the modern age, simply crazy. One might as well not have fda approval. The problem of ta

Accutain is some heavy chemistry and you need to be careful. It slows cell growth at a fundamental level. That is why it has pregnancy warnings, and there are concerns about brain growth. It is a reasonably effective anti cancer agent, you

Very interesting article. I see someone who won the lottery. They have built a huge house and family, based on the single skill of showing up for work, and having the right father. While this happens, this person thinks it is thier right, a

As a non parent, can you go further on the idea of how it would be hard to prevent a kid from using screens and internet until they were much older, like 14 or so? I grew up in the tv and telephone age, and i simply never had my own of eith

1. Your job as a parent is to educate them with mature and thoughtful responses to everything that they could experience in the world, say, by the age of 16. At this point your job is over, and you don't keep them safe, they go off and

Interesting legal point. Whether an api falls under copywrite is still under adjudication between oracle and google. Generally apis are fair game, although that might change. Otherwise, if you published and they cloned, that's the way

The author keeps saying 'my data' when the data isn't theirs. The fact that they interacted with a party, that interaction, and who you are, is thier data. This isn't a theoretical nit pick, this is the law. And it makes

It does amaze me that we are ok with foreign intelligence having the data, just not domestic intelligence. The theory being that the fbi and nsa have more power to effect our lives than the kgb, I suppose, but... Really? It is ok for the KG

This seems the classic 'ease of use' vs privacy. Google has done the right thing for privacy, because an app that can scan for ssid can determine location and report it if it has any outside connection. Good for google to equate t

This is common and necessary. There are a ton of federal and state laws about what can be considered in hiring, and if one steps an inch off of the legal path, the results are dire. Written feedback is the worst. One simply can't do it

The Google of ten years ago was the company we should have trusted the internet. The Google of today has essentially removed the founders and become a search for profit. Once they split the company 'for accounting purposes' it mea

You know, it's funny, you save the plane, then you get second guessed about whether you used air Force resources wisely, which can have serious repercussions. Or as a professional, have consequences to your career. It is a crap shoot,
