You're just describing laws. Is the worry here that they could more effectively enforce laws because of this tracking? Is that a bad thing?

A legal framework. You mean laws? We have those for all sorts of things but we still have courts to interpret How the laws apply for specific situations.

Law is not like code. It requires interpretation. You're nuts if you don't think most of these "smart contacts" wouldn't just end up in court anyways.

There's no magic bullet for solving a problem like wealth inequality. It's a political problem that requires a political solution. I'd also imagine that crypto ownership is massively concentrated in the top 10% wealthiest peo

The difference is that I'd imagine a substantial portion of the activity in crypto is related to crime. Whereas the entire global economy runs on USD.

Getting a tooth pulled is a much much worse procedure than a simple filling. I'd probably opt for 100 fillings before signing up for getting a tooth pulled.

It's bad enough private investors are wasting so much capital on self-driving. The last thing we need is the government doing the same.

So basically your solution to this problem would be eugenics rather than just eating less meat?

So to bring this back to the topic at hand you think that the Amazon workers Union drive is on the "military intervention in Libya" end of the spectrum... For some reason?

Okay so now it doesn't have to do with unions but with IQ and "cultural diversity"? Why is the US so rich if it has so much cultural diversity unlike Norway then?

Well how would you explain any of the Nordic countries if you thought there was a connection between GDP and Unionization? Norway has 70% of their workers covered by a Union contract and has a higher GDP per capita than the US. Along with s

Lots of states in the US have "right to work" laws which make it much harder to workers to organize unions.

The US system rations care as well. It just rations on the basis of who can afford care. It seems much more logical and humane to ration care based on how essential the service required is.
