I doubt it is to do with productivity. More like supply and demand.

The solution is the internet. No need for a telco for international calls.

Shame that global capitalism doesn't abhor US dev salaries being double Aussie or European ones. :-[

Nice idea. Surprised it wasn't more popular on HN.

A single married developer, not much. But a team of married developers maybe a lot.

Yes that is what is known in the trade as a bug.

Nice analogy. Not sure why this is downvoted.

I like the idea of having to type 6 numbers (yes those numbers!) into a computer to release the pressure.

Or: git blame | grep exployees.txt (pardon my lack of grep/git command line knowledge!)

Ok I got butchered on the downvoting there but if that is the consensus then I would argue this site should be called "Maker News" or "Techie News" not "Hacker News" if we want the words Hacker/Hacking

A compromise is to have next 3 numbers coming shown on the side. We can then be a bit tactical about it.

Optimisation 1 might be premature. If most cases the text is short then the functional approach is arguably nicer even if a tad slower.

Interesting. Is it international or US only? Would it be easier to have this as a chart on the wall?

Very nice and it plays ok, but I found a couple of bugs. 1. No castling. 2. Opponent made illegal move into check: g4 d5 Bg2 Bxg4 f3 Bf5 e4 dxe4 fxe4 Bg6 d4 Qd6 d5 Qb4+ Qd2 Qc4 b3 Qc5 Ba3 Qb5 Qd4 Qa5+ b4 Qa4 Qc5 Qd7 Nc3 Na6 Qb5 Qxb5 Nxb5 Kd

That sounds more like socialism from what I understand. Communism is more like you and your friends work on a farm, live off what you produce, all do some work, but you are not paid different or receive more or less food/accommodation&

Not sure I get why you'd use it. Easier to just type the commas, or if dynamic get the server to render them. Also this doesn't seem to take localisation into account.

Looks like a land line number. Will probably be free to call on most plans.
