The problem with 45 years of C++ is that different eras used different features. If you have 3 million lines of C++ code written in the 1990's that still compiles and works today, should you use new 202x C++ features? I still feel t

Not so much anymore. Aliexpress shipping has become quite a bit more expensive lately (unless it's "Choice"). Somewhere in this thread you can see my theory about their "Choice" shipping service.

This is kinda funny. I ordered a bunch of blank PCB's and it was inspected (opened) by ICE. It had their green tape trying to close it up (badly) after they opened it. I think they're looking for things that can't be X-raye

Children care. Children also often can't afford the cost of a new iPhone. Adults don't really give a fuck as I can tell about it. Adults don't really give a fuck about lots of what children care about.

It's not really money though right? It's the power that money gives. Food, shelter, health care. The CIA might add sex into that list. Without a US government the US greenback is worthless, and so is any power.

So if you're worried about packages coming from AliExpress, you probably shouldn't be. The last several packages I ordered were shipped USPS with an origin of the US. Los Angeles was the origin of the last one I received with Al

Interesting. I didn't know that. But I do know about 3d printering. :) Strength in printing is usually a function of the mass used to print with. So more plastic used at the boundary layers will mean stronger joints. Eg. A PET plast

Civil asset forfeiture connected to an actual crime should be. You should not own the guns you used to murder someone else, e.g. Otherwise it's "your $100,000 in dollars in cash looks guilty to me."
