It's really hot, you get plastered to the inside of the doors when it's busy and goes through Hounslow which is where the Indian population is in London. They named it that themselves and it caught on.

The Piccadilly line is known as The Tandoor in some parts of London, hopefully no more!

That wouldn't even help. It'd have to be part of the original supply chain and certification chain for anything to be allowed out of the country that cloned any parts.

I tried literally everything out there. TikZ is actually the least horrible as far as presentation goes. However it's hard work. I eventually settled on using Goodnotes on my iPad, drawing them by hand and just exporting the images.

Not sure what the big deal is here. The tech and engineering team is surely the most valuable asset, not the CEO. Edit: comment retracted. People going with him!

Correct. This is a major security fuck up and the consequence is as intended.

Or you could not give them any funding to push their DRM agenda on the web? I am happy to steal the content and I shall do that with yt-dlp and VLC because it is the best user experience for actually watching videos. The browser is not an

Agreed. Japan is exceptionally good I agree. Europe not so much. Germany's rail system is a shit show for example. I had to get a taxi to a car hire place a couple of times there.

Trick is to live perpendicular to the flight path where there is good public transport ;) As for the trains, no. Standing up with a suitcase between your legs is not uncommon. I prefer Ryanair to that. When I travel by air I have hand lugga

Completely agree with this. Anyway shifting all our trips to train travel is not the answer. The answer, which I do prefer, is not travelling at all when avoidable. I only ever travel for holidays and funerals. Never on business. All busine

It's not. It's expensive, noisy, takes a long time (6h door to door) and is uncomfortable as fuck. I recently had to go to Edinburgh. It was £235 standard class to get a train that takes several hours. Or £80 to get a plane that t

The trick here is to use Mail.app instead. It talks to gmail. Despite there being something obviously wrong here, web browser and web apps are terribly inefficient resource hogs compared to a lot of native stuff. Edit: and electron crap.

This is the voice of someone who has never actually ended up with a big AWS estate. You don't click to start and stop. You start with someone negotiating credits and reserved instance costs with AWS. Then you have to keep up with spend
