Not sure why you’re being downvoted. If a theory doesn’t generate at least one falsifiable prediction it’s not a scientific theory.

I can’t exactly say why, but I find this "single person $1B company" meme utterly annoying.

Isn’t that how good product development should look like for Apple/Gooogle though? Find something useful for one family, see if more families find it useful as well. If so, scale to platform level.

I was hyper confused that I didn’t need to hide ANY HTML element. Also, reader mode was not suppressed by some naughty trick. Unreal.

tbh I don’t think any one except for investors care how you deliver a service as long as quality and price are right.

The 1980 version of your comment: >Just saw a demo of a new word processor system that lets a manager dictate straight into the machine, and it prints the memo without a secretary ever touching it. Slick stuff. But five years ago, that

From the article: > The other party can use whatever client they have to connect to port 8000 of my system, e.g., a web browser, nc HOST 8000, curl HOST:8000, or even, ssh HOST -p 8000, irssi -c HOST -p 8000, etc.

But this is only true if things have changed. That's why I am asking if we know that the number of incidents went up compared to last year or if it was in the same range but without the media coverage.
