Ah yes, therefore we should treat everyone like children who need our protection. Wait, we're going to need some extra power so we can properly protect them. Yeah, we'll probably need a big budget too. And we know what's righ

Workers and resources: Soviet Republic is a super fun economic and transportation logistics sim that shines in "Realistic mode". Highly recommended for fans of the genre. Tiny bit like a hardcore version of City Skylines.

Brilliant plan. I was getting tired of all the local restaurants anyway, not enough copycat chains IMO. Glad we prioritized old people who no longer contribute much to the economy.

As a solopreneur using tiny k8s clusters, I agree wholeheartedly with #3 and #4 of your list. I don't think #2 is necessary and #1 is probably a good choice if you haven't already jumped onto the k8s bandwagon.

Idk what the author is referring to specifically but I can speak to my experience. I've been running a few single-node k8s clusters for a few years now. On GCP, the control plane fee is waived if you're running in a single region

I used mailgun previously and was pretty happy with it. I'm using postmark now, forget exactly why I switched but I think it was because I can have one account with silo'd API keys for each app.

As a fellow solopreneur who builds a few apps a year, sorry but I'm not at all interested in something like this. Good luck though! P.S. love your site designs and layouts. Taking notes!

100% agreed. Chesterton's fence[0] is a foreign concept to them. After all, how could those archaic morons in the past without our advanced technology have possibly landed on a better solution than the one some friends and I came up wi

I use NewPipe for all of those use cases. No ads, playback while screen is off, queue up and download videos, watch live streams, etc. Sorry, was that supposed to be a gotcha?
