Edit: This person isn't being a dick, they specified below. Don't be a dick, the homeless are going to be affected by this in a major way, probably many more deaths than the general population.

I wonder how many affected organizations have begun to turn non-office space into office space and shift work around? Imagine working at the NSA, you won't want a few thousand people coming through security and stuff every day, so you

I use Dokku, which is like Heroku, but on my own server. To setup a backend, I just write the code with whatever I want (I use Elixir) and I use a local DB to test, using an env var to get the DB host. Then, I create an app on Dokku, a serv

Oh yea, today we can do so much more with less UI, but I'm not into video editing so I'm not sure of what's available. I'm sure there are simpler apps for regular people now.

For my personal projects, k8s is so useful that I wouldn't ever build a server by hand again. I can spin up my blog or whatever easily on one cluster, and if it becomes too expensive I can just move elsewhere, or if I want to reduce my

Yes, that's basically what I'm saying, but I see now it could be a pain with a big repo, so probably not the greatest idea. I do still like a squashed master branch, but I suppose if you trained your developers well enough (ha-ha)

But can't you just go back and reopen that branch? Just because you squash-merge the branch to master doesn't mean you can't keep the branch archived. I have seen where you basically just "rename" the branch (i.e.:
