I recently went to the store in Austin TX. Like others are saying - the entire PC Hardware / sales department was empty most of the store had empty shelves or shelves that looked very picked over. The only interesting thing they seeme

This is awesome and I really hope it works. I still wonder how well it actually performs though (assuming it actually works).

This is really comforting to hear. I've actually started and operated two unrelated businesses I used to fund my college expenses so I'm relatively well versed in the process of finding a problem / niche and developing aroun

Even as someone who took algo courses in college I still haven't figured out a good way to go about this. In my experience unless I'm doing it every day my fitness will drop off completely in about two weeks. 2-3 problems a day (

I have very limited experience, but the few that jump out to me emanate from a few conversations I had with employees during my on-site. For context, the role was for a "Golang / Elixir Engineer" during my onsite all anyone

It's sad to say, but "we" as people who enjoyed the old internet or felt compelled to build and contribute to it are a tiny minority of internet users today. We are a niche. The vast majority are people looking to watch you

Yeah, I've learned the hard way that networking is 96% of the key to having a stellar career without leetcode BS. I decided to not burn my savings staying in Boston and moved back to ATX to live with family. However, I'm strongl

I'm mostly stumped by how people find decent freelancing connections or opportunities. I've had seemingly great opportunities or work passed on to me from friends end up being absolute nightmares. Granted my approach to being a

I'd leave the FAANG stint out, but I was working full time during those months I was employed and didn't really have much time on the side to work on side-projects. Wouldn't it be worse to have a year long work gap without t

The only feedback I have been given (if I get any response after asking) has been "we were looking for someone more senior". And an instance where I was asked to "implement a JSON parser" in 20 minutes where the intervi

Thank you kind stranger :) Unfortunately, I'm still unemployed but luckily my BS detector has had a nice upgrade, I've at least sort of improved my algo skills and had some time to think about what I really value in life.

Getting let go from FAANG basically because I didn't ignore huge red flags while getting hired (thought bc it was a FAANG there wouldn't be atrocious mgmt policies etc). The requirements for the position as the recruiter described

So surely Key Values takes a share of recruiting fees, not just a fee to list on their platform? Idk, it seems like this site wouldn't help cut down on candidates that are completely not qualified to work at a given company, which to

Is there any way to provide a dynamic mask? For instance, if I wanted to blur a dynamic portion of each fram, like a face or logo? I've been trying to find higher-performance methods of doing this with live footage that don't req

I just keep a git repo of raw text files with dates. It's dead simple and I usually just do everything via cli with vim. Maybe some day I'll get around to developing a simple markup scheme so I can parse and search my logs by #id

I'm still blown away that Key Values (as cool an idea as it is) manages to pull that kind of revenue. One thing I'd be curious to see is if the site actually can maintain revenue past year one?
