I think it's amazing that licenses are ignored to train a model, but companies then try to impose a license on the use of the same model. It would be nice if there there was a training BOM that came with a model. And if not included,

These protections are fun, but not adequate really. I enjoyed the game from the perspective of making it tell me who the killer is. It took about 7 messages to force it out (unless it's lying).

The way I understood it is the project used their plug-in to report fake octoprint instances. This was done in order to inflate their installs by claiming to be installed on these fake instances with the goal being to game the leaderboard.

To your point, I made this a few years ago using powershell. I just created a stub .exe using csc on install and renamed it to match a similar list of binary names. Maybe I will dig it up...
