Actually, to my mind there's a good case for sites like Youtube to ask for money from the ISPs. The ISPs users want connection to the Internet because they want great content (cat videos on youtube and the like). If Google blocked free.fr

Personally (owner of a company with 5 employees), I think $49/month is fine, but I'd expect ~5 accounts with that - not just 1. For the $250/month package I'd expect ~25.

Apples / Oranges. Quite apart from the ability to buy by the hour, the Hetzner offering really isn't suitable for processing any data you care about - it's not using ECC RAM, and the processor used doesn't support it.

This rather violates the idea of 'sell your by-products' though doesn't it? I agree for the initial phase of a startup this is a good strategy, but does it really make sense to ignore additional revenue streams which might actually be bett
