I kept scrolling because the line in the article “It’s like, there’s one video on YouTube, and it’s your video” rung hollow considering the CD had two music videos on it and I played them over and over.

doesnt it just mean the ad isnt part of the context? that they are isolated from each other and the ad cant steer the conversation? I get what youre saying, but I do think its important for them to point out the ad is sandboxed.

For Apple to really win this space I believe they would need to release a cross platform Publisher tool and complete in the AMP space. Some kind of magazine design / web design software that publishes articles to a standard format and

It's more than an image generator, and if you pop open the UX, it's somewhat thoughtfully laid out. Image generator meets editor meets page design.

Wasnt that sort of the in joke? They said it was AI only, tongue in cheek, and everybody who understood what it was could chuckle, and journalists ran with it because they do that sort of thing, and then my friends message me wondering what

Can’t say I agree. LLMs also aren’t currently good at synthesizing ideas between ideas, but that can and will change. Dismissing the concept because the current output is rudimentary is short sighted.

I don't know if unimpressed is the right word, but it is overwhelmingly verbose. LLMs are great at outputting tons of words. Adding sliders to summarize and shrink would be great. Adding slashdot metamoderation could be a nice twist.

It’s also autocomplete mimicking the corpus of historical human output. A little bit like Ursula’s collection of poor unfortunate souls trapped in a cave. It’s human essence preserved and compressed.

To replace a legacy ticketing monolith like ServiceNow with a text-based LLM pipeline, you should transition to a "GitOps for Service Management" model: replace form-based entries with a central, version-controlled Markdown or JSO

8 and 8.1 were two full different releases as well. 8.1 was much better than 8. The Kernel Version Numbers are a better hint at what is going on than the marketing releases. Windows 2000 NT5, XP NT 5.1 Vista NT6, 7 NT6.1, 8 NT6.2, 8.1 NT6.

I wish for browser ui innovation. The labyrinth of ways to interact with the temporal path between pages is a cluster. History, bookmark, tab, window,, tab groups. There are many different reasons to have a tab, bookmark, or history entry.
