It is getting harder and harder to find 4:3 monitors, so for me it's not my first choice that i now have a 1920x1080 as main screen. (I start drooling thinking of a 1920x1440 screen)

What is so horrible about using cp makefiles/`uname -o`/`uname -m`/Makefile . to copy the correct makefile for the platform?

I'm not sure where i am in this. I recently discoverd that my solutions started to be too complete, too much complexity analysis, too much enduser friendlyness. And that a 10 line POS script could do the same, if only the users would know h
