I'd offer an idea like "How about going back to college? Is that something your partner would be okay with?" But I have the feeling that you are showing signs of depression. It removes all color from an otherwise colorful lif

I really like the Close Tab button on the left, so while custom userChrome.css still works, I've fixed that. But for the rest, it's fine for me.

Yeah, this is my conclusion too. I moved from the Oracle platform to embedded, scientific stuff like reading out custom electronics for IR cameras. And now I'm into iOS apps. It's more a question of what part of the stack feels in

Is there someone who can point to a mono version of this font? I tried it in iTerm but forcing a proportional font into mono looks pretty bad.

Minor spelling thing; I think it's capitalized SwiftUI, not SWIFTUI.

Firefox has a neat trick to only search in links. Press ' (single-quote) and at the bottom, a text input field appears with the hint "Quick find (links only)". Type two or three characters will focus the link in question, jus

That's quite the review, I'll definitely consider it for the future. The thing with the Freestyle 2 is, it's actually very cheap for a split keyboard. But to hit that price point, it's really quite a conventional keyboar

FYI, it’s not new, all the USB-C stuff has this. My 2016 MacBook Pro came with a USB-C charger with replaceable cable.

Isn't the design just the normal keyboard, except with rounded corners? You can quickly see the differences by opening these two images in separate tabs and flipping between the tabs: https://store.storeimages.cdn-apple.com&

I'm also spoiled by (what I consider) a great keyboard, the Kinesis FreeStyle 2. I don't think I'm going back to this Apple keyboard, but boy would Touch ID be useful.

I actually like coming here, because whenever I see comments that aren’t nice towards others, I can simply say so. Sometimes you get downvoted, but usually not.

I haven't had that experience. Maybe it's due to the fact that my platform of choice does not allow casual driving. It's a pretty high monthly fee. The cars have remained clean and in very good shape, lasting about four years

Yes, that's correct. I'd have to hedge my previous statement and say it's only viable for regular car usage if there are multiple shared cars within walking distance. For instance in my street, there's one. And another t

Xcode doesn't go that far but has the plus button in the top-right corner. Clicking it will open a list of snippets. Most language constructs are in there, if/switch/class/struct/etc. Weird enough I never got used t

Talking about the Netherlands: when I got the theory part of my motorcycle license, I had to learn (and got tested on) all sorts of crazy traffic situations involving sidecars. Of course, I have never seen one in my entire 4+ decade life.
