It’s a two-way street, though. If you’re a half-decent software engineer there are tons of bosses willing to give you gobs of money. And smart bosses recognize that.

Wow! That’s absolutely bananas. I mean, I don’t want to tell physicians or medical researchers how to do their jobs. So, I have to defer to them. But the SNR is so high at that age it seems crazy to make that diagnosis. I was diagnosed with

Yes, every child in the United States is diagnosed and given stimulants for fun, unlike enlightened Europe. It might be over-diagnosed in the United States. I sure think so. But that does not make the effects of the disorder any less damagi

that's like saying pain medication isn't very effective if you just hurt again afterwards. it is somewhat ironic that you have to remember to take something that helps you remember to do things.

If I had to guess, I'd say the biggest reason is that it's dead simple to get a driver's license in the US. I remember meeting with a German coworker, raving about how fantastic it was to drive in Germany[0]. He was flabberga

I think we can all agree that blue check marks shouldn't be misrepresenting who they are. That said, the 'outrage' to this is pure political games. Don't be a sucker.

Same with the ICE tower and 2GHz overclock. Even with stress tests I can't get the Pi to break 50 C. I don't use mine as a desktop yet, though. I just run 8 Docker containers for stuff like DNS, Time Machine backup, etc. The goofy
