To quote Nikita Bier, never underestimate how many people just want to watch Netflix and die.

I'd like to sneak in a movie recommendation here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eden_(2014_film) , semi-related to the thread. Be aware that there are a lot of Eden movies, as well as another one in that same year.

True, I did some amateur vector art (in Illustrator) and you basically have to compose objects out of basic shapes. It is truly highly meditative.

A big question here, do you think it would be possible to self-study optics and what would it take?

It was an overreaction during the first term, now it's apt. The destruction of America should be stopped immediately. But I fear we are at Thor: Ragnarok timeline now.

Do you have more posts about this? My main gripe about Django is that the usual html templating options are but-uggly (as opposed to those that ship with Rails), but I haven't tried one of the new options.

Agh, the glory days of when tynan and sebastian marshall inspired what I would do later on in life (it's vagabonding, sort of vagranting). Also, his gear posts are really interesting.

No argument on that from me in general, but the book in question is practical.

Excellent sequel to the goat book (TDD with Python), that got me to deploy my first real web application.

Was just about to write. My 69-year old neighbour just knocks on my door at random interval and asks if I want a coffee. * I had an 80 year old neighbour as well, but she got sick and moved in with her daughter.

People are just more and more used to interacting with an LLM / GPT, I think that's the why of the long questions + yes, people are not finding what they need.

I really do not understand why can't they just work with existing OSS developers pulling their hair out trying to make AMD devices work and instead do it this way. It's like Mozilla with the questionable decisions.

With AI, full-stack will be only on the up, especially the frontend UI nitty-gritty (my humble prediction).

1) You really can't 2) maybe the current sweet-spot for usage is to use to to build stuff you couldn't immediately figure out how to build yourself, something that is just beyond your (perceived) reach.
