I don't understand the correlation between air quality and asthma. In the United States, asthma rates are way up. This article blames at least part of the increase on air pollution, specifically nitrogen dioxide. But nitrogen dioxide

The problem with solar awnings is the cost. It's much more cost-effective to install solar on a field or an open area than a parking lot. Parking lot installations much more expensive because of the additional infrastructure needed.

The United States is not actively antagonistic toward specific technology and is instead very pro-solar. There are a lot of support/incentives for solar, but not necessarily for this specific kind of technology.

The United States is not behind in terms of R&D funding. I'm pretty sure the United States has spent more on solar R&D than any other nation and the United States has consistently led the world in solar technology. The United S

The picture you linked to is where they added metro to into the island of a highway. They shouldn’t have built a subway, they should have created express lanes for express buses instead of these monster metro stops.

To his point about watching his water consumption, the apartment building I lived in 20 years ago lost water (the water pump broke). We had to carry up all of the water we used to our fourth-floor apartment for six weeks. We were incredibly

I loved this article. Sometimes we assume that as the price of copper and cobalt rise, that more supplies will come online and help drive down the cost. That is certainly true in the long run, but there are serious challenges in the short r

There are companies, such as Heliogen, that are working on the next generation of CSP with higher temperatures and the use of lower cost thermal storage. It will be interesting to see how their systems work at scale.

Big Oil is ExxonMobil, Shell, BP, Aramco, Total, Chevron—companies of that magnitude. Regardless, Vermillion is the only oil company that sued anyone and did it a few years ago. Where’s the evidence of Big Oil currently suing?
