David Allen commenting on productivity tools says that, in essence, all you need is the ability to create and maintain lists. In Evernote I have a bunch of notes. One is called 'Projects', one is called 'someday maybe' one is called 'stuff'

So I guess the theory is that most projects that are hosted on Github will have a product site somewhere else where ordinary users are presented with a simple download button

OT, I am not familiar with GitHub and I know it's much more than a download site. As a Download site, however, I don't think it's very user friendly. You think you've have what you want when you see the file icon but that isn't clickable.

I've often read recommendations where people will something like 'Gimp is not as user friendly but a fair alternative if you can't afford to drop the $$$ that Photoshop costs'. Having never used Photoshop I can't comment on how they compare

The women in this article have a very different experience to women in Government jobs in my country. Here they have 9 months fully-paid maternity leave most of which is usually taken after the baby is born. Also when they return to work

Statistically, shorter men suffer more from heart disease, I believe. Food servings aren't generally adjusted to the diner's size. Maybe smaller people just get used to being relatively overfed.

My guess is that the people who were insanely friendly lived in areas where they didn't get to meet too many foreigners. Familiarity breeds contempt as they say.

I use Boxcryptor. When I look in my dropbox folder all the files, file and folder names are encrypted. Instead of this, I as a user interact with my mounted Boxcryptor drive where I view same files and folders unencrypted.

That just a measure of how accurate the judging process is. It's why FIFA are now going to experiment with goal line technology

I think it was Woody Allen who said 90% of life is about showing up. It's a phrase that I think of a lot both on days when I dread doing something and after a day that went badly
