The way I think about it is that if the idea is so good then you should rather go implement it. There are many advantages here. First, by implementing you can validate a lot of assumptions you made. Second you got some experience in the ar

Why odd? They got farecast and now they are getting data from kayak to surface in bing travel. Looks more like a consolidation to me. With GOOG buying ITA, they better cover their asses.

When they did make a tablet OS 10 years ago, nobody wanted it. They have a lot of things to unlearn. It's gotta take some time.

I think it really is an ask. It was just framed so that it is consistent with the union theme that the group is following. Otherwise, what "right" do they have to demand anything from Google? It's not like Google entered into some contract

Agree. What I think they should target is a set of sites that just copy content load their pages with Google Ads and mint money. Those are the ones people more likely to not want to see rather than sites like wikia. In any case this is a bo

I think those limitations are from the way WP7 restricts access to the live camera view. I hope they fix that soon. A lot of cool scenarios can be unlocked if they do.

Loved this quote from the article: "This is the Harvard, so to speak, of entrepreneurship" Says something about YC.

Hope this is how the future of education looks like. Curses like these are too valuable to be locked in the ivory towers of ivy league schools. Kudos to MIT for releasing it and hope many other premier schools follow this lead.

Actually there is a minor point that I am trying to make here by using the stock name. As techies we often forget the end goals of a business, by using the stock names I try to remind myself and hopefully others that no matter how cool is s

No point debating if the iPad is a hit or not. Just see their annual report and you'd know that its a big hit. It doesn't matter if you see them on the streets or not. AAPL sells them and its makes them money which means that it is a hit.
