What recent MS products have you used that you hate so much? I use bing and windows phone and just love them.

That's like Microsoft saying that they did tablets well before Apple did iPad. Though true, the experience of thoese two devices is vastly different. Windows 8 looks very promising though...

Though I agree that the capacitive buttons are more reliable as compared to physical buttons and also look nicer, I think the mechanical buttons only have to be reliable enough. Particularly in case of phones, that typically get replaced e

What use is an exported that that cannot be easily imported to other system. Google should provide connectors to other popular tools e.g. export data from picasa to flickr or smugmug etc. similarly export to hotmail, yahoo mail etc.

Facebook already has a conceprt of groups. I frequently share my updates/pictures with only to select set of groups. It's just that it is a bit hard to use it. Nothing that facebook can't fix. Don't know what is so great about this.

It is possible to do what you are trying to do (Say things to a private group) on facebook even today but I don't know why they have made it so hard to use. I literally had to spend 15 minutes figuring it out and spend time to configure it.

True. That's why I said it keeps them "looking like" they are innovating. Failed or not, each small product or feature release gives them PR points. Look at +1, buzz or any other new products. They are all the rage when they are released. E

This is what I love and hate about this company. They are not afraid to release products and then kill them shortly. They are no afraid to experiment. Keeps them looking like they are always innovating and ahead of the curve. The unfortunat

What do you mean directions to developers? As a developer, I will write my app in the new more touch friendly "Metro" UI because it can also be used with a keyboard and mouse. The familiarity that is there in the old platform is the familia

But that doesn't mean when people want to buy a new car they go out and get a boat instead. Change from Windows 7 to Windows 8 is a marginal one. Change to another platform is much larger.
