That is probably because tablets only account for a fraction of usage. Besides Microsoft does not have a good tablet story yet. With upcoming Windows 8, hopefully they will get act together and improve touch based accessibility for these pr

Being evil while proclaiming to not do evil is lying. What credibility would you grant to a company that does it. And this is just one occurance. Claiming to be open when withholding source code to latest android releases, stealing content

So that's how you justify Google's actions? By play of words?

I never said Apple Oracle or Microsoft are not evil but they never did either. Google is hypocrite here claiming to do no evil while suing others through a partner.

Not true. It's the android that infringes on the patents not the hardware.

Given that they don't brind much firewood (patents) to the bonfire, I'm sure Google will love that.

It was but obvious that Google will start suing the moment they got their hands on patents that they can use to sue people with. So much for Do no evil :)

Probably because it was the whole office set of programs that was being downloaded. No idea of there was an option to just download Onenote but should have been there.

Agree dev tools don't have to be tied to any OS and come to think about it, the fledgling Windows Phone OS will benefit if there are more people adopting the dev platform if it runs on Linux BUT you have to draw a line somewhere. realize th

You never buy DNA. It has to be there in you. Tell me one example who bought a plaform in and made it successful. HP never had a chance. Leo was dreaming when he bought WebOS. I'm glad the dream is over sooner than later.

And that makes you think, if this guy knew it is coming and was heading the most influential and powerful software company at that time, why did Microsoft fail to build on this vision?

Ofcourse apple will want to enter enterprise. They want to fuel their future growth somehow and enterprise is much more willing to give apple a shot than before. Microsoft should be worried about this which has traditionally had a stronghol

Inevitable decision. It's really hard to do complete stack unless you are completely comitted to it like aaple is. It was always going to be an uphill battle for HP and I am glad they realized this sooner than later. I said this before. Nok

Re. the snark: the OEMs went with microsoft but were disappointed because microsoft had a lousy OS especially as compared to iOS. Microsoft needs to do some work to gain their confidence back. WP7 looks much more competitive though. I have

If the industry waits for congress to sort it out it will be left waiting for years. Even the critical issues such as debt ceiling were down to the wire. Its the problem that the industry has to figure out within itself.
