I think I get this sometimes, lying on my back falling to sleep. What feels like an "electric shock" hitting me between the eyes and jolting me awake.

I used to bind 'jk' to escape but it led to a few problems, in particular I would compulsively use jk as escape on remote systems I hadn't configured myself. In the end I realized I didn't mind ctrl-[ and have used that

In the past they have done week long SSTV events, often over the Christmas / New Year period. They haven't had a long one in a while as the SSTV unit was malfunctioning, but just a couple of weeks ago they did a successful test so

The endless open world / survival / scavenger games are all like this for me. You learn the ropes, start playing well, and after a while go "now what?" In Rust for example people seem to wind up mindlessly picking off ne

I don't use AdNauseam but I have been thinking about it more lately, not out of malice but because I wonder if it's simply a more efficient way of preventing trackers from learning about me than by standard blocking. I am concerne

Yeah this is what bothers me. Any argument that has an innate, automatic means of dismissing criticism is innately worth dismissing automatically.

Yeah. I feel like Western cinema right now could use a movement like the Pinky movies of 80's/90's Japan - cheap, titillating, often thoughtful art movies that were also basically softcore pornography.

I appreciate the work good mods put in but I'm only loyal to the concepts of my favourite subs, or to the people who post on them. I don't know of anything online like /r/signalidentification, for instance, and I'll

Sometimes people say "you only hate TikTok because it's a foreign company doing it better than American social media". Maybe that's right, maybe TikTok is just doing it better than American social media platforms, but wh

At this point in time trades seem like a pretty good bet. They pay well (in my country at least), you will always have work, and the skills you develop are very practical. Nice to be able to look at an issue with your own living space and c
