It's bullshit like this that makes linux attractive.

Why would I buy this when I can just squeeze the dreams out with my bare hands?

Is there a comparison with tig anywhere? Spose I should just download it myself and give it a go.

Which OS are you running on your netbooks? I recently acquired an old netbook with an Intel Atom processor and have been trying to find decent lightweight yet usable OS for it. I'd tried Debian but Firefox was too slow on it, maybe I s

Cool project. Does anyone know if they make those LCD screens in a higher definition? I've tried googling but I tend to find consumer electronics instead of electronic components.

Not to invalidate your frustration, but if someone rejected me based on the colour of my chat bubble in a messaging app, that would be decisively unattractive to me.

From a marketing point of view, I agree - for a paid product it's not exactly reliable. If you take away all the marketing fluff though it's a pretty cool open-source project, like yt-dlp or adblock origin.

I'd be curious to read the post if you're willing to share?

That's ideal, but some people don't have the resources to do that.

Yeah, that's a much more eloquent and detailed version of what I was trying to say. Sucks that so many cities are designed around the car. There's a good Youtube channel called "More Than Bikes" about this.

by barbs 3y ago
Even more low-tech - a bicycle, although admittedly not an easy replacement for a lot of car trips in many places around the world. Perhaps an ebike?

I suspect my general usage might be a bit more basic than yours - my main apps are WhatsApp, FB Messenger, Safari, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Maps, Spotify, YouTube and Netflix.

Typing this on my iPhone SE, I replaced the battery myself a couple of years ago and am planning to do it again soon. It's only got iOS 15 but it's still getting security updates and works well.

What alternative would you suggest?

That sounds fantastic! What are you up to now?

Whilst your point about lateral violence is valid, your reasoning is ignorant. MDMA might be molecularly similar to meth, they are different drugs with different effects. Also, the term "junkie" is stigmatizing.

They've been supporting iOS 15 with security updates for devices that can't update to iOS 16. Not sure how long they'll continue doing it but I imagine it'll be for a good while. Looks like they just released an update t

Curious why no fix is out for iOS 15 yet. Is iOS 15 not vulnerable to this attack? Or is there often a delay in backporting security fixes that I'm not aware of? And if so, should I be implementing a workaround if I wanted to protect a

Not necessarily. You could understand that a cracked PC game means its copy-protection has been removed by someone illegally but not have a detailed enough understanding of the process to understand the tweet. Personally I'm not famili
