I believe that a lot of the mac and linux ports were made so that they could be in the Humble Indie Bundle, but these ports are also available elsewhere (the steam page for Fez now lists Mac and Linux). Yet another awesome thing about the H

I recently built myself a gaming rig, and am running Linux Mint on it. This works well enough for me. Sure, most games out there are Windows only, but the quality ones that I want to play (dota 2, Amnesia, Quake Live) work great on Linux.

I found that I got pthread protection problems, but other than that SC2 worked great. No idea how well LoL works under wine, but DotA 2 has a native linux client. Just saying! :P

I remember reading a definition for a hacker that was something along the lines of "someone who modifies something to do something that it was not originally intended to do". It was better worded than that, and might not be entire

Does this mean that, in theory, if someone wanted to modify some GPL'd code to merge it into a proprietary project, and they didn't want to GPL the entire project, they could modify the compiler to compile the code with the modifi

Interesting! Out of curiosity, if this were the Gnu C Compiler, would this be illegal, since the GPL requires the source to be distributed with the binary, and the source and binary don't match?
