Are you suggesting there's some sort of security issue currently? Only asking because I noticed I was logged out of HN recently and don't remember logging out myself.

I've not had an issue with openshot personally, though I haven't had to much more than trimming. I use arch linux, so whatever the latest version released on that.

A good open-source PDF reader I've used in the past on Windows is Sumatra. Very lightweight and functional. https://www.sumatrapdfreader.org/free-pdf-reader.html

I think it would go a long way in establishing trust if they release the source code, even if you can't perfectly prove that the binaries are built from it. They would have to be outright lying if that wasn't the case.

Is there a way to implement reproducible builds for apps released on Google Play? Because that's where the vast majority of people will be downloading the app from. Also, I don't think there's any such solution for iOS.

In my experience, context switching is more a problem in the short-term, where you're working on two problems at once and switching between them constantly. Or, when you're working on one thing and you're interrupted by a que

1. Perhaps employees would be more likely to stick around if they were happier in general with part-time hours, so less hiring would happen in the long run? 2. I think working full-time hours is not actually the same as max efficiency. 3. U
