It's not a game, but LTSpice from Linear doesn't have a Linux release because it runs on wine; though, they do try to make sure it works on wine.

Cypress and Microchip also have USB-UART chips that cost less than FTDI's parts and are well documented. The CY7C65213 is even a pin-compatible replacement for the FT232R and shows up as a USB CDC device.

They probably wouldn't be able to attach anything to the ram directly, as the ram chips on modern phones are soldered down BGAs. To get at the pins, they'd have to de-solder them, which would heat up the chips in the process. It m

I'm pretty sure the person that wrote that is either a troll or mentally ill. All of their posts are poorly written anti-functional programming rants. They're also on reddit with the same sort of thing.
