What do you want to do exactly? On the repo, click the SVG file and then “Source”

The whole point is that SVG images are basically never loaded with the embed tag, which is the reason why this is innocuous. Embed is basically like using iframe, so where one is blocked, the other one is too. The author simply loaded the S

There’s nothing to report. For all intents and purposes SVG files are treated exactly like images. All interactivity and even the ability to load other resources is disabled. FYI millions of readmes have had SVG badges for years.

There is no hole. The SVG is loaded as an image. If you find a hole, it would be in the browser’s handling of SVG images, which would be a pretty big hole.

I’ve got accustomed to free solutions coming and going. The key concept here is that I’ll be using a free product for a few more years, until a competitor comes along.

That’s just word play. I’m asymptotic today, symptomatic tomorrow. I, asymptotic young person with nCoV 2, am spreading it today. The “yet” part is completely irrelevant to this point in time.

Are they trying to kill the product as fast as possible? Because waiting for a first-party solution before kicking 99% of your users out is the perfect way to do it, short of simply deleting their accounts. Good thing I was an earlier GitHu

GDPR applies to companies doing business in EU. Pretty sure that Tinder has to follow EU rules given that they receive euros, albeit indirectly.

So what Apple is doing with privacy cards in the App Store. Can’t get any more simple than that. I wish they could paint in red things like “shares your data with others”

I had noticed this on my iPhone 11 Pro and I hate it. HDR doesn’t give you “whiter than white”, it just adds more steps of gray. White is white. White on a display is the brightest point the display can display. What Apple is doing, as the

Neither case is really static and you still need the server running. Also for whatever reason even with the right headers I could never force CloudFlare to actually cache everything. I think it will just keep a copy of a visited page in som

I’ve done it too, but wget is pretty “dumb” and will try to save files as main.js?v=1.2.3. Also wget doesn’t support everything so you have to carry over some files manually.

Cool but why not just use regular MD with YAML front matter? I don't find that JSON readable at all, comparatively, and that INI isn't any better than the YAML version. --- includes: docs/index.html.md menu menuTop

Sometimes I wish I could just use WordPress as a static site generator off of a docker machine that turns on on login and off at log off. Nobody wants to deal with slow and insecure always-on WordPress sites. I know that there are some webs

Windows has had a minimal form of standard notifications since Windows XP, which appeared as speech bubbles coming from the bottom right corner.

Speed enables higher lever programming and therefore more people can solve more problems better and faster. Surely you can fix 40-year-old machine with new software, but how long did it take to write that software and how much more could th

FOUT still happens and it shifts the content. I thought this was going to offer some custom loading logic like “don’t switch the font unless it’s cached or the user isn’t looking.”

I read this before but I never encountered it before. Sync Storage works just fine, you just need to add the gecko extension ID to the manifest as described by other comments.

How hard is it to understand that Node.js is a JavaScript runtime with access to the filesystem? I don’t understand most of your complaints. Web-ext does not need Visual Studio, it installs just fine on macOS. You should open an issue if yo

It’s unrelated to the build, it works even if you edit files directly. The downside of this is that it means no HMR support whatsoever.
