Surprised that R isn't on there since it is a top 10 language. The ecosystem though is pretty huge and R Base without Hadley Wickham's tidyverse isn't very useful for me. Also would love to see Racket notes.

I actually have moved from VIM (I had an Amiga that I learned Vim on) to VS Code. The Vim plugin is just great but the VS Code ecosystem id great and when I switched was much fast than Atom. If people can look past their Electron Bias they

AT&T killed that idea fast 6 years ago. When the Motorola Atrix came out with the ability to do that AT&T charge a $20 tethering fee to use the laptop dock with the phone! That blew my mind. The phone wasn't tethering data to a

Developers need to support Apple as much as they deserve, and really do they deserve much? From Hardware i.e. the Mac Pro (Not innovative? How about just make one workstation for Video Production that is valuable) and the Touch Bar. Softwar

BUT those are what you just did. You are just as guilty of what you were excusing of others. You just made MAJOR hundreds of millions of people's deaths and called all of these little.

Wait you had paid for Apple Care and yet they wanted $500? Why is Apple so sacred with so many people?

I use my company one in a dock. The OS drives me nuts. It seems like the whole thing resolves around the touch pad. I don't have a track pad on the keyboard and it makes the OS so much worse then it already is.

Did you read the article? It certainly wasn't shallow nor was it negative. You are right in 90% of these post they are shallow this one was really a good read.

I just lost an hour. Thanks that was really interesting. The New York Times video in the thread was exactly what I was wondering about. How the switch happened.

BUT it is HDR aka they take multiple of photos and use the under exposed for the sky and the more exposed for the faces. So they are doing MUCH more then a histogram.

With the Mac Mouse having a right click? No you buy an official apple mouse you have single click options only. Also the laptops are also single click.

One HUGE Issue Hardware. While the build quality is awesome the muscle power of most Macs graphically is just abysmal. Also the lack of a native Right Click! There are plenty of Mac OS games and people don't play them.

I am also most comfortable with my OpenSUSE but Windows 10 is great and I have OpenSUSE Bash for Windows installed. It really is nice and it is case sensitive! Why is Mac OS OPTIONAL case sensitivity?

It certainly feels like Mac OS is stuck in in-between land with iOS and OS X and it just feels a mess if your on a desktop with no track pad. The scroll bars are not mouse friendly. Windows 10 seems so much more stable and modern to Mac OS
