Another issue is Bulkcopy sucks for error reporting and txn management. TVPs are an acceptable compromise for most situations; if only they would let us create a TABLE type based on an existing schema.

Could be a technical+political battle raging inside. History shows that backward compatibility guys usually win in MS. I would be really surprised if they decide to NOT support older devices.

I'm most productive before the deadline hour, day or night. I hope I'm not the only one.. However I voted morning; starting at 5:00AM is fun. I feel extremely positive/optimistic when I wake up, that counts for something I guess.

What about employers intercepting SSL connections to spy on social networking/external email usage on the corporate network? Is that against the law too? Genuine question. This is quite prevalent, and they make it very clear in the Acceptab

Exchange also supports WebDAV - Outlook web access uses(d?) it. In fact, this became one of the easiest ways of integrating with Exchange server. Now that Exchange 2007+ has a full web services API, I hear the DAV stuff has been deprecated.

Your math is right, except you missed a factor for Dynamo - Unit size. http://aws.amazon.com/dynamodb/#pricing If your txns are all within 1KB, your math holds good; otherwise, you pay more. Interesting model, but I suspect it'll average

Can you please explain your math? AFAIK Azure txns are not paid by the hour - they are a flat cost of $.01 per 10000 storage txns. If you do batched GETs and PUTs you make only 550 txns (55000/100 entites/batch). http://www.windowsazure.co
