Good points. I feel where it all loses its legs is the fact that most coding work is intermediate complexity. You won't need super intelligence to code/maintain your CRM or what have you. Specialized firms may pay the premiums Ant

On prem GPU capacity - or decent enough devices for core engineering team - lends itself pretty nicely to local LLMs too. And you own the whole stack this way. Why pay premiums to Anthropic and fuel its trillion dollar valuation?

I think it's a huge bubble about to pop. I get that enterprises are like elephants, slow to move, locked into agreements. But I think free is going to be infinitely better than paying Anthropic more money than you used to spend on your

Hey man, give this a shot: https://github.com/Doorman11991/smallcode Harnesses such as this - combined with locally hosted AI models - are the future.

Your opinion also holds weight. In fact, I've been in your camp throughout, only having changed my mind in the last few weeks. I've seen legitimate instances of Anthropic costs surprising medium to large enterprises, so that'

Congrats to Karpathy. I wonder whether this is the right time to join Anthropic. Looks like it from the outside. But - unpopular opinion - I believe Anthropic is one open-source model away (that can code well) from a massive revenue/st

Just setting up better SOPs around using AI for coding is going to help them a ton. They can chalk off the sunk cost to a "learning phase", with now being the time to use the lesson learnt to formulate some future-looking standard

Even had it hit, think of the jobs that would have been created because of this godsend. p.s. I hate explaining jokes, but this is a "Don't Look Up" reference.

This is part-aware 3D generation. This is a new technique compared to how AI is currently used to generate 3D objects. State of the art 3D generators like Meshy or Tripo operate as if molding a 3D shape out of clay. On the other hand, this
