When I was in school, I learned the real value of exercise. When I had time to do them and still get 6 hours of sleep, I stayed healthy. When I didn't, I'd start to feel sluggish after a week and I was prone to sickness. Doing a startup c

A word of warning for all those who would read this. Employment is understood to be a lagging indicator in economic circles, and this principle is well reflected in the graph data. We now know that the recession started in Q4 07, but you

I agree, but I think that over time, you can also learn to be not-awkwardly-social in spite of it. It does take a conscious effort to "context-switch", and I find that a walk outside often helps.

From what I understand, this has to be in the userland threading library, unless you're a Windows developer. Wouldn't this functionality be provided by glibc (i.e. pthread_mutex_lock), in Linux? It's not reasonable to expect them to touch

This ought not be a problem. It's an up-front cost. The algae reproduces on its own after you seed it in your grow ponds, yes? The whole concept is centered around harvesting the said algae after that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this entrapment? As I understand it, it's legal for the authorities to go buy marijuana, and then arrest the dealer. But it is not legal for them to sell marijuana, and then bust the people who buy it.

It's also worth pointing out that per-capita income is much higher in CA than it is elsewhere, NY including. We need to pay our teachers here that much just so that they can afford the rent. The rent is that expensive because there are to
