100% unrelated but I would suggest installing `pipx` when you need python packages to use from the CLI/outside a python project environment. `pipx` installs each package in its own virtualenv, so it is independent of your system python

DuckDB is a sweet API for most programming languages and allows you to write SQL queries against parquet files, exploiting columnar storage (SQLite uses row storage).

that's exactly the comment I was looking for! xsv is super powerful and I think you might both draw inspiration from one another. I read above that tv reads everything into memory: maybe you can exploit some xsv tricks to avoid that. I
