Brett Taylor is probably pumped to be competing directly with Elon Musk after their Twitter interactions.

That looks like political posturing on chat. They probably knew what was going to happen and wanted to be on team ‘yes’

Yep - this was hard for me to learn

Are these only businesses in California? I tried to load more on mobile several times but only got CA companies.

Yes - probably for the socialization but that’s reasonable IMO. I try not overthink this one :)

This seems like a stretch. Isn’t Zuckerberg a MMA enthusiast who trains and competes in a responsible fashion? Musk would get destroyed and it seems like he knows as much. I took it as a big joke.

That’s enough traffic to attract local sponsorships. I bet you could find local sponsors who can pay you on a monthly basis

I need to watch Solaris and Stalker. Tree of Life was one of my favorite film experiences ever, but I wouldn’t care to watch it again. I’m curious - why did you feel like Tree of Life was incomprehensible?

The screen studio video is a bit hard to follow. The zoom in and out is distracting. I would prefer to see a wide show with the zoom in on the critical features.

The last sentences read like the opening header on a landing page. That’s a cool business.

Wow! Two thoughts: 1. When compared to a similar SNL parody from 5-10 years ago, it’s much more concept based. I guess you can’t really expect “performance moments” yet. 2. The voiceover sounds like “Antoni” from Eleven Labs. I use that voi

Techno enthusiasts/experts: I explored a bit of the Detroit history last year but can’t remember the following: Did any links exist between Motown and techno? Did techno find its place thanks to the remnants of Motown’s existence?

I would do interviews with interesting people and publish them in written form. I like the ability to go on/off record during an interview. I have done a few interviews with local business owners and they’re always a good time.

Same here. I remember thinking the depression/drinking would never end. It did. Life is great now. Merry Christmas

Reddit has a good Shopify community - ask them if they’re familiar with the concept. You can also do a 7 day trial of SEMRush and do some competitive research on the app’s domain. See if they’re ranking for any keywords/how much search

I created a really popular park in a mid-sized city. It’s surreal to see all kinds of people play on it.

If the reporter was having a natural conversation with the daughter and she said, “my dad could be charming,” that’s hardly swimming in irrationality. She even admits that it was probably him.

Thanks for posting this. I had a totally different opinion after reading the NYT article. 6.5k monthly - I wonder how much longer they have?

Wow. I remember reading the Lime line in the The NY Times article. NY Times didn’t check that source. That was audacious of Helium. Thanks for replying.

I think Helium is a pretty well known, real-world blockchain project. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/06/technology/helium-cryptoc...

Yes. Writing in depth about old projects is therapeutic for me. It also helps me appreciate others’ writings.
