You could just as easily conjure up a situation where a junior doctor or lawyer makes a mess of something trivial, while a junior developer put on a major healthcare project could absolutely do some damage to their fellow human beings.

The mindset that having a globally distributed team with global VPS coverage is more desirable than ensuring people's private data is handled with care is way more of a fucking disaster.

Or maybe he wasn't sacrificing his natural humility to teach his daughter an important lesson on the toxicity of wealth, and he was just an asshole. Which explanation is simpler?

Is this really the same Axios? Crunchbase says they were founded in 2016, and while it may actually be possible, I'd hate to think that a company could get data worth housing on 5 billion people in like two years.

You don't get to put up such a farcical claim without proof. Please prove to me that Alex Jones was liberal for an entire episode any single day this millennium.

At some point, people merely adopted these platforms, transitioning from nothing to something. The notion that we can't simply transition from Facebook to nothing is nonsense.

I get the feeling from things like this that Bitcoin enthusiasts think these sorts of gains are only possible with Bitcoin. You could absolutely make a very similar site using Apple stock.

I don't know why they left it out, it's the best news I could have hoped for from 1.10. All this after I set up a semi-complicated series of make targets to compile these plugins in Docker containers and use volumes pipe them out.

I really hope this trend takes off, but ideally I'd like to see both the states and the federal government enforce net neutrality, regardless of which party controls either entity.
