If you want to optimize for least deaths and injuries, thr optimal speed limit is 0 km/h. Everything else is a tradeoff between convenience and potential harm.

Those stats are probably very different for babies, who are more fragile and could get seriously hurt even at lower speeds.

If, for achieving zero emissions, all capacity needs to eventually covered by wind anyway, then building out all that solar seems pointless. That money would be better spent on wind.

If wind will be enough, why build solar in UK at all?

Extra students were financed by (student) debt, ie. made up money, which could lead to inflation. Whereas UBI could be done without any money printing - just via taxation.

It’s „easier than ever” because of inflation alone. Doesn’t mean it’s easy. Also, „becoming a billionaire” is such a distorted goal that I’d recommend a psychiatric checkup for anyone who seriously considers it as their life’s goal.

I may be wrong, but I think infotainment does not have any access to vital parts of the car (engine, brakes, steering etc.) so has no way to mess it up and kill someone. Hence lower quality standards in it, as it's not safety-critical.

For me, it's overwork. I sleep badly when I work too much and worry too much. Which of course leads to vicious cycle, as bad sleep generates more problems at work. When I don't work, or work lightly, my sleep is 10/10.

As Steve Jobs put it, "we're in a business of making phones, not hiring people". It makes way more sense for a company to get rid of an employee when they admit to burn out, rather than try to help them.

There are hardly any jobs like that in the world. It would also be hard to create them via some state intervention, because it's very hard to create "meaningful, high impact, high autonomy" via bureucratic process.
