I run ZFS on Linux and FreeBSD and FreeBSD is less of a faff. If you don’t need docker on your NAS, I would go FreeBSD as well.

Better than shellac I guess. Jewel cases are fragile, but they’re largely standard and can be easily replaced if the crack or the dots in the middle snap off. It has no bearing on the artwork or the music itself.
