I’d gladly enforce documentation on every piece of code, even if that means some dumb documentation in some places

When the road doesn’t have a sign to say where it’s going or how fast you can go you’re ducked

This ^ Update the road and make it safe and clear to use before removing the signs. Don’t tell road builders that they can avoid placing signs because most road builders don’t build clear roads.

Honestly out-of-date documentation is most often better than no documentation at all

Please do not follow this advice. Once you become good at writing clear code, then seek ways to reduce documentation by using conventions, clearer organization and naming, etc. But you need to be a documentation master level 99 before even

You can but it’ll take longer. So one way to get faster answers is to stream the response as it is generated. And in GPT-based apps the response is generated token by token (~4chars), hence what you’re seeing.

Not tinitus per se, but I’ll write my experience here because it helped a friend who ran in the same thing, and it might be more common than people think. I took a plane while sick, sinus were kinda jammed, ended up hurting like hell when t

“Enthusiasts”. I’m talking about gamers in general, not people who are interested in assembling a desktop PC

Lots (most?) of gamers don't upgrade their gaming PC, they just buy a preassembled one and will just buy a new PC when the time comes.

I think there's some fundamental issues with gaming on Mac also. I've tried gaming on mac for a very long time, and games were always sluggish and fullscreen seldom worked correctly.

I'm sorry but mobile gaming is a whole different "gaming" world. It's often not the same playerbase.

I had to review a Spring application once and that convinced me never to work with Java ever again

Probably because most people don't want to work with Java

What’s remarkable to me is that when copilot launched there were a lot of people on HN saying it was not good. Now it seems like everybody has adopted it and can’t live without it.

Actually I’ve done hostels like that ^^ but they were on the lower end. Usually nicer hostels (like in Korea) have a curtain for privacy. I guess it’s all over the place.
