The reports are only as good as the people who write them and the depth they go in to. Often, I find the information is superficial, gathered from technical documents and whitepapers, without actual/significant usage/testing by them. Howeve

I have yet to meet a marketing manager that builds/codes his product(s). Maybe I should meet more marketing managers?

This is why I advocate, where possible, try-before-you-buy. It is an important decision and very costly to correctly. With regard to people in technically expert roles (CTO\CIO\etc\etc) they really must be able to walk and talk. The harde

Interesting and personal account. I liked the fact they are frugal with the money even though they have "millions in the bank".

Pen and paper is best for very early concept design but quickly becomes a chore for complex sites. To resolve this, I have tried LucidSpec ( http://www.elegancetech.com ) and AxureRP-Pro ( http://www.axure.com ) which are better in many way

Anyway to answer your question, as far as I know if you make a submission you get 1 point. If people like what you have submitted they vote you up (+1 point) or down (-1 point). As you will see this second comment is another point. Thanks.

I actually turn off my internet connection. It is the only thing I found that really works for me. Not disruption from IM/email/web/etc and then I just get on with it. I guess I am lucky I can do this as most of my dev can be done offline.
