If a Google account compromised all of the assigned features are available at the web console anyway, having ssh access doesn't add that much risk.

You can reach your full cloud infrastructure from any browser, all you need to remember is your google password. No need for a terminal or ssh, a regular windows, os x, linux, chromebook or tablet will do. Quite handy.

To whom the intention behind the question is obvious it's also obvious that cheating and gaming is not a valid option here. Having an honest answer improves the candidate and that's not related to the actual job at all.

They do this themselves, at least in Europe. It's scary like hell that they follow each other, neck by neck, hour by hour with the shortest possible tracking distance.

Do you have a definition for an active user? If so how the active vs. passive user rate? Arrange user tests, ask people who are unfamiliar to your product to download and try. You could learn a ton from that experience watching people using

Check some Python code from Peter Norvig and you will see a beautiful and clever style. It's not the language which stops you.

There are similar attempts but OTP is a unique and very powerful approach, the deep integration between the language, core libraries and the framework is hard to match. Why not stick with it? Elixir is fresh and nice, but even Erlang is eas

IMHO they are just catchy titles to grab readers. As an example in the last sentence the author states: "I don't think there is a direct relationship between Python and Rust." That's a fair conclusion as TL; DR;

Seem like the pet peeve of a new CEO who doesn't understand the company but the arguments are pretty weak. My advice, leave it as is and move on. Even better, think about a new CEO.

How do you monitor HW and network failures and how do you notify SoftLayer? Is that 1-2 hours replacement time true for each components of your server fleet?

I would like to know the cost calculation after a year or two. With a handful of servers it's easy to get the false impression that HW failures are rare.

This would be valuable only with a proper test suite, nothing fancy but two files with valid and invalid addresses. I don't trust these and very hard to debug a complex regex, it's wway easier to argue about test cases.
